we have just a handful of guys that good teams would want, and we have no depth behind them.
we look like we’re about to go 6-6 or maaaaybe 7-5, but that’s what we thought before the season! If we knew this ahead of time, why are we shitting on Heup now? He’s made some mistakes but from my perspective our team plays harder and faster than at any point during Pruitt’s tenure. Defense looks like they know how to line up, and receivers run open. This scheme will work if we can get the right recruits... the scheme is soooo much better than last year but the players just aren’t the caliber we need to compete.
hopefully this staff can do work on the recruiting trail. If we can knock off Mizzou, Kentucky, USC, etc, it’ll show progress. Rodney Garner will do his part, you can count on that.
