I need to use or loose. I had to cancel a trip to Cairo, Luxor and Dubai after the bombings a few weeks ago in Egypt. My wife said, no way she was going there. I don't really want to go anywhere in Asia , I have seen all that part of the world I want to see. So that leaves Europe and the only two places Emirates flies into is Milan and Athens( weird I know). I was thinking a rail trip from Milan through Switzerland to the Rhineland, coming back down through Normandy then Milan and home. Or.....Athens(been there) and go to Santorini for a week or so. Anybody done either of those?
