He doesn't play a couple tournaments as a run up the the prior two months
Unfortunately I think weather will limit him his best chances just like this week. Under 70 degrees I'm not sure he can win and definitely under 60. With the wind this week I think that shortens his swing and his speed bc of his back.
If every major was 80+......I would think differently but the British and the Masters might have cold weather half of this remaining chances the next 5+ years
Another huge factor is he plays best with a 3 tourney run up or so prior to the major. That's how he gets the rust off just like the run up for his East Lake win and also his 2019 Masters win. I don't see him saving the 1-3 shots a round this week bc of rust and that's the difference winning and just playing ok and a top 10 or worse. As great as he is.....he still needs reps. He did last time to get from playing ok to contending to winning
