The man to bring us back to being a respected program. Championship level??? Not sure yet, but we won’t be losing games we shouldn’t anymore.
I made a thread before the season started and said for me to believe he is the man he would have to win at least 7 games this season. If he won 8 I said we have something special. 6 wins he did what many thought he could do and below six he is no better than anyone else we have had the last 10 years.
I also said we are so use to sucking. That we now expect to lose games because we have been conformed to thinking it takes time to rebuild blah blah blah to see results. Heupel comes in after we lose 30 players to the transfer portal, picked second to last in the SEC only above Vanderbilt, and dominating teams not just winning but dominating teams we were chosen to lose to. We were also bottom of the FBS in offense and over one offseason the top statistically in many categories. Throw that rebuild crap out the window. If you have the right coach you will see results immediately. You may not win championships in year one, but you should see improvements in your team and win column. A great coach is a difference maker and that’s what we may have.
