I have it from a good source who knows the family personally that the facts on Jalen's departure include the following: he did consider transferring after the NW win in January. He decided to stay but wasn't happy with the offensive scheme or knoxville in general including campus life. He started to become unhappy after the UGA game, because he felt that Butch was singling him out for every mistake he made whether they were during the game or at practice. There wasn't an altercation with Jennings this past weekend, but his teammates were distancing themselves from him as he had started isolating himself earlier in the year. His mom didn't approve of his desire to transfer and asked him I sleep on it but decided against Momma's wishes to transfer and called her Monday after Butch had approved the transfer. I know a lot of this has been posted, and I don't normally have insider info. This does come directly from someone close to the family who speaks to the family regularly.
