The University of Tennessee suffers from poor management at all levels, and it is reflected in its athletics department. We hired a chancellor this week, we have no director of athletics, and our premier program is hemorrhaging credibility. Still.

This is an astounding failure at multiple levels.

How many presidents have we had since Joe Johnson?

I wouldn't work for that place under any circumstances, and I don't know why anyone with a base level of respect for their own talent would either.

I think it's a case of the university's benefactors have been given too much power. Who's running the show over there? No one actually knows, and too many people think it's them.
