Bring him in along with his OL coach. He’s a brilliant play caller who would adapt to what he has to work with. I’m a big fan of their blocking scheme. They’re small but play much bigger and will bust you in the mouth. Keep Jay Graham as RB coach and bring in new TE and WR coaches.
Before you ask why a head coach would leave a smaller school to become a coordinator at a P5 school, there will always be hesitation from SEC schools about hiring Chadwell with him having no prior experience in the conference. Dan Enos was the head coach at Central Michigan from 2010 to 2014 and left to become OC/QB coach at Arkansas. He was a good one for them too. Dave Clawson left the head position at Richmond to become our OC. Had he and Coach Fulmer been given more time, it would have worked out and our shitty recent history would never have happened.
See what the man can do. If it goes well enough, he even could turn into the next head coach. That happened at Oklahoma and Ohio State just to name two.
What do you think?
