Who could possibly fit into that system that we currently have on the roster and have committed.
Secondary is fine. Bituli and Austin Smith could perhaps play the Jack OLB in addition to Sam and the other 2 LBs are roughly the same size as a 4-3 and need to run. So Kirkland, Sapp, Ignont can fit in there.
The problem is NT. KMac and Tuttle are the closest to nose guards. Litaker can factor here. A. Johnson will have to as well as Bennett. But thats a weak lineup. Lets be real. Khalil may shine better in a 3-4 though since he just needs to eat space. Edit: Crosby here as well.
Kongbo, Philips, Butler, Johnson, Picou, Thaxton, Emerson, and Lawless will play the DTs.
I'd move Darrel Taylor back to Jack. Need another Jack type body here. Bituli looks like the best candidate to me. But need another.
We'd clearly lack depth in this defense but we'd get better playmakers at LB on the field next year.
