I think he’s got a very bright future, and at a very young age is poised to be one of the top big game analysts, but his comment that Jarrett doesn’t have a huge arm was just wrong.

IMO, pound for pound, he has one of strongest arms we’ve had up there. Bray probably had a stronger one, but he was slower than Peyton and Casey put together. When he doesn’t hesitate, and gets the ball out on time, he’s got a very quick release.
He obviously spins it as well as anyone. It just kills me when these guys make comments without any forethought. Maybe it’s just immaturity.

The other silly comment was “Nigel Warrior has
a chance to be special” dude, that’s what you say about a freshman. Warrior is a freaking junior very likely playing his final year, regardless of what kind of success he has. McElroy did say something I wholeheartedly agree with, and that’s that he needs to be a better leader. I don’t think he had it in him. He’s too emotional, in a bad way, has terrible body language, and is not going to be a guy that represents us at media days.

Although I’m only midway through the 3rd quarter, here’s a couple of things:
•The TE’s are showing up and look pretty good physically. Pope looked great on that play where he almost scored, and Bumphus is a specimen.
• the secondary, seemed to at least be more physical and showed more ball skills. Warrior is all over the field.
• receivers made most of the tough catches
• Chandler is the man
• Callaway is the man
• Emerson looks like the man, because he sure passes the eye test.
