My guess is unless he wants to leave Butch isn't going anywhere this year. Not with a incoming AD.
Besides that Gruden isn't coming (and never will). Saban = not coming, Coach Cut = not coming (making 2 million a year with NO pressure to win) Butch will be here next year unless he ask out.
With him here, what needs to happen?
1. first fire = DB coach (its scary how bad our secondary was and never had signs of getting better)
Of course pass rush does play a part in that.
2. Jones has to decide if Shoop is staying or going and get it done fast.
3. We must have a QB coach and OC who can develop QBs. Never going to win big without a consitant QB. If I am a QB recruit, NOT coming here the way things are now. (that might explain some things)
4. Recruiting = if we want to win championships in the future we MUST do a better job recruiting OL and DL.(they cant all be projects) It doesn't take great RB if you can move people up front and as we have seen. Your not going to win many games if you cant stop the run. True in every league.
5. Our strength program has to get a lot better. We got pushed around way to much this year even before all the injuries.
