Offense depth chart for next year seems pretty good, aside from losing Cade Mays. Only 5 seniors in the 2 deep, with the potential for 3 to come back seems really promising. If they can land a transfer tackle, offense should take a big step forward next year.
On the flip side, defensive recruiting is down right awful, which is very surprising. Only 4 defensive recruits so far, and only one is ranked in the top 650 according to 24/7. No secondary recruits so far, and there are 10 seniors in the 2 deep, meaning we could potentially lose half of the room next year. War room suggested several juco secondary players, but honestly I’m not too high on because jucos are very hit or miss. I understand we are down right now and investigation yada yada yada but seems like they can’t get much traction with with any top level recruits, which Tennessee has historically always been able to do. Gonna have to hit the jackpot in the transfer market to field a decent defense next year.
