it's really unbelievable how butt hurt so many on VQ are over Pruitt's "fan comment". I mean really? Are you really that thin skinned and sensitive? Think about this for a second...yes we've been through hell as a fan base the last 10 years (excluding two 9-2 seasons under Butch..which isn't terrible). We're sick of coaching changes, the ups/downs, whatever... My point is this...NONE of this is Jeremy Pruitt's fault OR his staff's fault! Pruitt was brought here to win games (and I think he will), NOT massage the emotions of fans! His plate is full trying to get this roster competitive again. His job is to win games! He's been a MAJOR part of 5 National Championships...I truly believe he knows what the formula looks like in terms of players, player development, support staff, facilities, and guess what...fan support! Sure many of us are UNCONDITIONAL fans...and many are fairweather fans (I know plenty). Personally I don't need Brent Hubbs or anyone else to "council" me or my feelings on why Pruitt said what he said. I'm not that fragile. I can only hope recruits can see past this drama. My final point is that you (as a fan) can choose to be part of the problem or part of the solution!!! Why don't you as fans (and local media) try to stop critiquing EVERY word the man says, and every move the man makes! I PROMISE you the man and his staff knows more than any of us about winning football and the formula for success. Let him worry bout implementing this formula instead of massaging our "fan feelings"! GO VOLS!!!
