Obviously just an ugly day. Turnovers and then in the second half, Kentucky just whipped Tennessee on both sides of the ball. Just bad ball.

Looking at the quarterback position, I was wrong. Some of you asked me this week why JG gave Tennessee the best chance to win and I said experience and that he didn't play that bad last week and cited the first half in Athens, but the reality is that he gave you no chance to win today. Just as importantly I don't think Chaney did either.

Kentucky tested Chaney and JG's patience and the Cats were rewarded for it on the second pick six.

I wrote this post game and I think it's the biggest question, Tennessee has to decide what identity they can have this season and what they want to be offensively moving forward.

Pruitt is right, his RB's get tackled too easily at the second and third level.

But I don't agree with Pruitt that his receivers can get separation. I don't think they can overall. I don't understand not playing Malichi Widemen more. If he can run a take off and you can throw him a jump ball in the fourth quarter than he can in the first quarter. I get they don't know the offense and they missed time in the pre-season but you are four weeks into the season.

Defensively, it's time to give up an out pattern in order to stop a slant. Tennessee's defense is not forcing quaterbacks to make skill throws to move the ball.

Also, Tennessee has to fingure out what they are doing on offense. Carvin played on the TD drive and I guess physically couldn't come back. Cade Mays played right guard, right tackle, and left tackle. The offensive line has been at their best when Mays has been at right tackle. The Vol tackles have struggled with edge pressure the last two weeks.
