I guess it's possible he was benched but he scored a TD and played after that fumble. So why would Jones bench after playing him?
Also a lot of you are making it out like he was showing off. He thought he was alone and you could tell he didn't know that guy was there. This is completely different than all those guys who high step and drop the ball at the 1.
Yeah he should have carried the ball tighter or had more awareness. But Hurd has been one of if not our hardest playing player for 3 years.
