With that out of the way I feel if Peyton Manning would have had Belicheck as his HC he would have won SEVERAL more Superbowls and Brady several fewer. Football is a team sport with a LOT of the success depentant upon a great coach and GM.

The patroits were very lucky by getting Brady as low in the draft as they did because it saved them a ton of money for a number of years to develop a better defense to suppport Brad just as Seattle saved a ton of money on Wilson. Only now is Seattle having to struggle with finally paying Wilson upper teir pay for a starting QB.

If you look at the throws that Brady made against Atlanta none of them were deep passes, but they were damn accurate. Brady doesn't have a cannon for an arm but he is a great QB becasue he is very accurate, knows where to throw the ball, knows how to buy time in the pocket and can quickly read and pick apart defenses. I think the year that New England had to do without Brady proves that Belicheck is a great HC but they did not even make the playoffs so I think it is stong evidence that Brady needed Bill to be great and Belicheck would not have won nearly as many without Brady.

I truly believe that if you had swapped Brady and Manning that it would be Manning with all the SB rings and Brady with just two. I would NOT in any way consider any of the head coaches that Manning had in his career HOF coaches and certainly not one that most feel is the GOAT like Belicheck.
What really interests me is to see what happens when Brady retires, I want to see if Belicheck retires at the same time or within a season or two of it and if not what type of success they have without Brady.
