NSIAP: UT ranked 6th

In attendance behind Michigan, tOSU. Then, there are three, yes three SEC schools ahead of us: Bama, LSU, AtM. To me, this is disappointing because during my time at UT and the 15 or so years afterward, we were no. 2 behind Penn State, if my memory serves. That, in my opinion, was a huge recruiting advantage. We once dominated the conference and now we're fourth. It's all because of the skyboxes and now the terrace. I know all these numbers are fudged, and we've not been the best football team in a while, but this is the cost of upgrading the stadium so the money people and the people who are there for the wrong reasons can be catered to. I'm always a traditionalist so my opinion is predictable. I really wish they could have come up with better solutions as to not jeopardize what we have here. It's just not the same without that trophy and I think it's hurt our recruiting. I think it's time we figure out a way to add 10,000 seats. And I think we'd have no problem filling it with the successes I think are coming our way.
