Looking through stats today for some research and noted that the three lowest scoring games of the season for the Vols have come in the second game of rematches with SEC opponents.
They scored 56 vs. Vandy in the second meeting, 58 at Kentucky and 59 at Miss. State.
The only exception to a real drop off in offensive output was the Ole Miss game here in Knoxville when they beat the Rebels 75-66.
Very much looks like teams are figuring out what to take away in the second meeting. So will be more than interesting to see if the pattern continues in Columbia.
In a very simplistic view looks like teams are willing to sell out to try and contain Williams, Hubbs and Schofield and taking the chance that the Vols' guards aren't good enough to make them pay for it.
