I live in a neighborhood of approx $250K houses. I live in a cul de sac. A year and a half ago a house in the cul de sac burned (about half way down). The person owned the house, no one was hurt. The person has been paid by insurance. There has been no attempt to sale the house or rebuild it. At first I felt very badly for the person as most would. Well, a neighbor saw this person yesterday and asked what the plans were for the burned house. He said "not sure, may just let it set for awhile, maybe a year or two". There is also a pick up truck parked in the cul de sac in front of the burned house. Been there all along. Neighbors as well as myself at this point are losing patience. Not sure if there can be something legal pursued. Any professional or otherwise advice?
