Obviously, with him being 12th in the country, Rivals thinks highly of him. Obviously with him being in-state, he was of huge importance to our staff.
Can you guys provide any insight onto where Richmond might have stood on the OL board of our coaches?
Was he far and away the top OT prospect they evaluated? Simply the top one that we had any shot with?
Do the coaches see him as possibly being ready to play immediately? Will he be further along as a run blocker or pass blocker at the start? With time, and learning the offense, I would guess he is expected to excel at both?
How does he compare to Offensive Line prospects from TN within the past decade? Are he and Oher the no-doubt top-2, maybe with the kid from Nashville that went to Michigan or Notre Dame as the 3rd best?
