with plenty of experience coaching at a lower level than a career coordinator turned HC. Neither is guaranteed but in one case you are hoping the guy turns into a decent coach and in the other you are hoping he turns into a decent coach in SEC. You might at least skip some of the more baffling stuff like “protecting” your young qb with runs into field goal range then having him throw his first pass of the night on a 4th and 4 instead of making it a one score game.

I think we are probably stuck with Pruitt because of finances and this effed up year so hopefully he can figure it out eventually but damned if we aren’t paying the guy 4 million a year to learn on the job.
