if the department is contemplating more statues of former players, coaches, I think they would go best on either side of Peyton Manning Pass leading down to the Neyland statue at the entrance of the stadium. What an impressive site that would be as you looked down the street to the stadium at the end! Also, what an enhancement to the Vol Walk experience! I think that street is such a focal point that it needs to be enhanced as much as possible. as far as the statues, I think it's only right to start with Johnny Majors. I don't think anyone has given/done more for Tennessee Football than him (outside of Neyland of course). Just my two cents. Go Vols!
