The young man from McMinville who made so much noise at the satellite camp in Nashville on Sunday was at camp on campus today.
Just had a chance to catch up with him. Tennessee did not offer today but sounds like they liked what they saw at camp today. According to Calvert, since he's been away from the game for awhile, the Vols'staff would like to see him in action this fall and have a chance to evaluate him in a game. He didn't seem upset about not getting the offer today, said he spent a lot of time with Butch and seemed to really appreciate his honesty.
It very much sounded like he would be ready to pull the trigger when that offer came.
We'll have to see to see if that remains the case with all the interest he's picking up. Sooth Carolina and Florida have already offered and sounds like Mississippi State is on the verge as well. He's also heard from Southern Cal and Oregon this week.
