Some comments I've made on the board before, may have alerted everyone that I've returned to school and I'm the old man back in school. Even, as an older guy and, somewhat outta touch of the happenings, it's still enjoyable.

That said, I regularly speak with a group of guys who are close to the h.s. sports community, recruiting and those who are friends with the guys in the AD. I argued with a guy yesterday about our QB situation. Obviously I believe Dobbs is our starter, backed up by Dormady, S.Jones and Guarantano. Not trying to troll or begin rumors, but it was interesting that he agreed with an earlier poster here, that Dormady is gone. I simply smirked and said, "we'll see." because there's been no rumblings about Dormady that I've heard or nothing mentioned by Brent/Paul.

The second thing which was said: one of the guys commented, "Who would take over if something were to happen to Dobbs"' My first thought was Dormady, but one of the guys said it would have to be a more athletic player to guide our team the rest of the way and that Quinten, while a good passer, is not athletic enough to be successful in DeBord's system. Here's where it got crazy, I had mentioned in the case of Dormady slacking, Sheriron Jones would be the obvious other choice. Jones is athletic and passes fairly well from what I've seen. A guy spoke up and said don't be surprised if Guarantano took over the QB responsibilities. When I said no way, a couple of guys said don't be surprised because Guarantano is the real deal and has incredible athleticism. I had nothing to add and don't know how successful Guarantano would be. Just wanted to share for discussion.
