For the second time in two weeks, athletic director Phillip Fulmer made it clear that he will not be rushed or pushed into anything regarding renovations to Neyland Stadium. At the quarterback club on Monday, Fulmer said it's unclear if they will start any construction work at the end of the season. And he reiterated that the first phase when it does start will be on the south side. Currently, parts of the south side of the stadium are still occupied by University employees/departments which makes it hard to see any real work getting started soon.

The interesting part of the whole thing is that the people making the decisions about the stadium have probably never taken in an entire gameday experience sitting in different areas of the stadium. Fulmer should have his administrators sitting in the stands for games, in random sections in regular seats for the entire game throughout the season. Use the public restrooms, public access areas and reach into own back pockets for concessions after standing in the lines with fans.

I'm still curious as to who these mysterious people are that are apparently trying to bully Fulmer into doing something.
