You guys (Rob in particular) have been harping on this team's deficiency on the glass the last couple months. Last nights article by Rob made reference to it with this comment....

I was stunned that Loyola out rebounded Tennessee 27-24 on the day. That’s been a problem for Tennessee all year long but you didn’t figure it would be against a Missouri Valley team with no real size to speak of.

Why would anyone be stunned at total rebound numbers like that if they looked a little deeper. LC shot 50% from the floor, with UT shooting 45%. The Vols had 8 fewer rebound opportunities than the Ramblers because of it. We were, if fact +1 on the offensive boards. We gave up a total of 5 offensive rebounds in the game, which is pretty darn good.

We can even go farther for the season totals, since this has been a theme for you guys.
Since conference play started, UT is 14-9-1 in those games, controlling the offensive glass. Again we won the offensive rebound catagory in about 60% of those games. Just can't roll out total rebounding numbers and decide if that's a strength or weakness of a team. You can't rebound makes by your opponent. Look to the offensive glass for a good indicator.......a place where we've been pretty solid.
