I have noticed that Tyndall does not use his timeouts and lets the team play through adversity. This is refreshing and instills mental toughness in our team. In a day when so many coaches micro-manage each game by using all five (5) of their timeouts, Tyndall has allowed our young team to play through runs made by the other teams. When the other team scores a few consecutive baskets, the players do not look to Tyndall to bail them out. It is another small detail of Tyndall's coaching that makes him one of the best in the business.
My question is, has Tyndall ever shared his thoughts on this? It seems intentional, and it is working.
