he touches the ball like once or twice a game. Whereas on defense he could be helping shut down an entire side of the field. Shoop said the kid is a 1st round talent and everyone can see he's going to be special. I'm sure he'll be very good, possibly even great on offense. But this team needs him infinitely more on defense. I know the situation at CB and WR was different at the start of the season, but if I'm Shoop I would be pressuring Butch to either use Byrd much more on offense or move him to defense. We need that kid to be impacting games, not sitting on the sidelines.
