Tennessee is scrimmaging in the stadium. It's about 43 and damp here, but not surprising that Pruitt went outside as he wants this to be as game like as it can be. It will be interesting to hear how the passing game is with the weather.

It's a big day for the two newcomers on the offensive line as they are going to get a ton of reps with Carvin working at left guard as some of the linemen deal with some day to day bumps and bruises like Devante Brooks. Calbert was not expected to get scrimmage snaps as they continue to work him back in to contact. Same for Daniel Bituli who's limited from contact.

It's also a big day for Greg Emerson who hasn't played football in a long time.

One of Pruitt's challenges to his team was to have a game line focus and that's something he was walking around observing in the pre-scrimmage warm up work. lt was the first time we really have seen Pruitt as an observer. He's spent most of all the practices working with the defensive backs during the open media portions of practice.

The coaching staff is also treating things as game like as they work on their communication, game day roles. etc.

We will have much more this afternoon/evening as Pruitt will visit with the media following the scrimmage.
