USCe.. has put feelers out but the feedback hasn't been positive because of their AD situation. They may have to fire Ray Tanner and if they don't he will probably be fired in the next year or two..
Some coaches are hesitant to show interest because them not knowing who new AD might be. To make a change they will have to fire AD first and he choose his own guy.
If Virginia Tech makes a change look out for Brent Venables. He has told some close to him that he would be open to taking a head job this year. He hasn't been open to it until now..
A sleeper to get in on Hugh Freeze is Vanderbilt... I heard that this week and seriously doubted it.. he will be mentioned for every opening probably if that doesn't work for whatever reason (I don't think it will) look for Clark Lea the defensive coordinator at Notre Dame.
