We got beat. We got beat bad by the best team in the NCAA with half our starters out. We probably lose even with everyone healthy but let's move on.
Now on with the my observations so far.
1. Never seen so many injuries happen in one season. Just boggles my mind.
2. Our OL might be the worst in the SEC. We have to do something. Mahoney and even Debord not getting it done. Recruiting or coaching I don't know maybe both.
3.Our offense only works if Dobbs can run. Hurd gets a lot of flack on here but no team respects our passing game. Dobbs is probably to worst passing QB we have had since Rick Clausen. Love Dobbs as a person but our offensive struggles gets better under Jarrett Guarantano.
4. We may have the worst LBs in the league. Sucks we lost two of the best. We have to recruit better here. Proud how much heart our backups have but they are what they are backups.
5. Shoop is on par. Not super impressed or disappointed. It's hard to judge him with how many bakups we are having to play. We look great then terrible.
6. Don't understand why we don't run an offense that has Kamara, Hurd, and Dobbs all in the backfield. I know we do it some but I would think we would be able to do so much more with that set.
7. This team has a lot of heart. Love that with this team.
8. Other than Barnett not impressed with out DL. Heard so much about how great our DEs where etc.. Maybe our OL was that bad and made them look great in practice. Tuttle has shown flashes.
9. Catch the damn ball. Just way to many drops. Dobbs is not throwing great balls but at this level we shouldn't have this many drops.
10. Lastly DeBord has to let our offense play loose. Our OL makes that difficult but in my opinion we play better behind because it forces us to open up the offense. Early in the game run, run, pass, punt. Passes less that 10 yards, bubble screens, or screens. Not hard to figure it out.
