thru 2012 with Bray for the most part. We had some lean times with freshman qb's who eventually developed but our qb was at least fair to good if not excellent for most of that time. We saw a dip with
R Clausen and M Simms and then Worley. But the longest, sustainable, poor qb play has occurred over the last 5 years, beginning with the poor evaluations from Butch Jones and his staff. They did a good job recruiting Dobbs but other than brought in nobody. JG is one of the biggest qb busts we've ever had and certainly the worst three year starter in our history.
Shrout, Maurer, and Bailey ( jury still out) were poor quarterbacks...they took a flier on Shrout as we all know. Maurer was passed over by Florida less than 25 miles from Gainesville.
I'm hoping we can get solid play out of Hooker the rest of the year.
