Lots of doubt regarding our defense after A&M put up 592 yards. A few thoughts on that after finally watching the game last night on TV (I was there)...

1) A&M has great skill position players with an experienced dual threat QB. A&M has a very good offense.
2) Inside of 3 minutes left in regulation, Williams had less than 100 yards rushing (final 217)
3) Inside of 4 minutes left in regulation, Knight had around 40 yards rushing (final 110)
4) Outside of 4 pass plays accounting for 118 yards, Knights other completions averaged about 9 yards per catch. Those 4 balls were perfectly thrown to receivers in stride.
5) Knights completion percentage - 50% (17-34)
6) SEC road environment
7) injuries

My hope/expectation:

1) A&M has a better offense than Bama.
2) Turnovers led to extra possessions, fatigue and inevitable defensive risk taking on closing drives at A&M. Turnovers will be the key to this game.
3) Vols will have to limit/shut down run and force freshman QB to beat them. Can Vols pressure QB? Can db's can force Hurts to throw into windows smaller than the 5-7 yard openings he has been seeing this year?

I pick Vols if we win turnover battle with no defensive touchdowns by Bama. GBO!
