Tore my hamstring pretty bad on Friday. Been in some pretty bad pain since it happened and have been trying to get in to see my primary care provider through the VA since then. I cant even get through to talk to ANYONE at the clinic here in Knoxville. Whenever I get through to anyone it is somewhere out of state. I have been told 3 times that they will "put a note in my file" and that my care team will contact me ASAP. I just got off the phone with a lady in Ohio only to be told that it is my care team's day off so that I can't even make a DAMN APPOINTMENT to see them and have to wait until at least tomorrow to try to get in touch with them again. I asked if they had a Nurse Practitioner that I could see, and the entire clinic doesn't even have one on staff.
My leg is black and blue from my ass to my knee, I am in enough pain that the only way I could sleep last night was to get drunk, and I cant even get in contact with anyone at my doctor's office. I would just go to the private sector, but my insurance costs me $75/visit to do PT and that is just not worth it when I am supposed to be able to get it through the VA. I have been battling this freaking organization non-stop since 2012 and its just getting old
