I posted a few days ago concerns about saying all the right things but it not showing on the field. Another thing I've noticed over tne years is that when the first score or scores come easy against a good team there is a let up. Maybe players do not realize it but its happened too often for it not to be real. We scored easily getting that 21 points. I told a friend watching with me I had concerns even though I liked the score. Then we immediately turned into a shit show in just about every respect.

This not being ready can happen during a game, and if you lose momentum it is dang hard to get it back. Maybe they were ready initially but if so, they lost it. I like CJH but he got out coached last night, and not just at the end either.

When a team has missed assignments, mental me mistakes that become penalties, etc, that is a team not mentally prepared. And what about tacking.

The best coach I ever had constantly told us to not get happy when things were going right. UT got happy, coaches got dumb, ands we lost.

And something has to be done about refs. If that had properly been called a TD we might not have won. But that call guaranteed we could not win.
