@Eric_Cain had a discussion on players opting out of bowl games. I see both sides of the coin and understand why a player would opt out. He discussed it from a individual players view.
But to play Devils advocate, this is still a team sport. Bowl games do matter, if you don’t think they do, look at the sideline during the last few minutes of the Music City Bowl. Player were crying and upset. Just a little better corner play and Tennessee wins that game.
My question is do you think opting is ok? Or do you think it is not ok to quit on your team because that is a seniors last football game.
