Let me put into perspective of my experience with this. I fired an employee with cause IMHO. He filed for unemployment and I was sent papers to answer why he was let go. I detailed the reasons for termination while also letting them know he went to work for another liquor store near me the following week of said termination . Gave them the Owner, address and phone number to verify said information. He drew 6 weeks of unemployment on me( which comes out of my reserves) while Working. This was 4 years ago and I’m still waiting on them to return my money.
