There is no question in my mind that we beat the hell out of them. I believe we have a much more talented team. We’ve played everyone tough since Hooker was named the starter. Only one starter is not playing. Their two best players have opted out.
But the biggest deciding factor for me is desire to actually play the game. I remember when we played Clemson in the Peach Bowl. Both teams had a choice of a video game device or a bowl ring. Vols picked the video game and Clemson picked the bowl ring. Result, Vols were dominated by an inferior Clemson team.
This edition of Tennessee football has played with heart and soul all year long. I don’t expect that to change. Then I read in the War Room where someone was quoted “let’s play two”. Damn! That’s all you want to hear if you’re a Tennessee fan. We will win this game and we will win bigly!!
