So, for example. Clay Helton rumored to be going to Georgia southern in Statesboro to be paid only $800K per year after receiving what is a good buyout from USC. I bet $800K per year would go pretty far in Statesboro and he would have plenty to set aside for retirement, unless he has a serious gambling or drug habit or is going to be divorcing and remarrying.

You could also live pretty damn well anywhere in the south except maybe Atlanta, Dallas, Fort Worth, for $800K a year. Of course, my standards may be low. I don't need an fing palace to live in. I don't need a Mercedes, etc.

I just think living conditions are better and easier coaching at some of the smaller places. I don't understand why many coaches don't want that. Is there anyone on this board, except for Pred (who is a multi-billionaire) who would not move to Statesboro for $800k per year?
