It's a weird year in college football. UT fans bitch and moan, but they are ranked higher than they have been in a decade, and many other teams expected to be good are playing worse than we are.

SEC East, quite frankly, is not good. Overall the SEC is down. UGA isn't good, they have been lucky so far. So have we. UF just flat out hasn't played anyone yet. Even the SECW is down. LSU is struggling on O. Auburn sucks. LSU kinda sucks. OM is 1-2, and has a bad defense. MSU is not that good. Arkansas has won, but they're really not much better than last year.

Outside the SEC? Oklahoma sucks. TCU can't play D. UCLA isn't that good this year. USC is bad. FSU got exposed.

UL looks unreal, and will be in playoff discussion. Early top candidate is Lamar Jackson, not that Clemson guy.

Who has looked unbeatable? Bama's defense was shredded by OM, even though they won. Clemson has been sleepwalking.

Playoff type teams : UL? Ohio state? Michigan? Washington? Maybe Clemson?

Just a strange year so far - but it's early. Some teams will get better.
