I find it interesting that we are hearing rumors of some bigger names having interest in the Vols hoops job than we did a year ago.
What has changed the perception of some of the coaches who have reported interest?
Is it that Tennessee's search committee has let it be known that Tennessee is willing to play ball on a bigger court with the better players?
Has the memory of "The Petition" faded in the eyes of coaches? I have to believe that "The Petition" scared almost everyone away from this job a year ago.
In the ashes of this debacle, I have to believe that Dave Hart has vowed to use some jiujitsu on the situation and leverage UT's basketball assets and finally go get a bigger named coach and not just hoping to pull a rabbit out of a hat and catch lightning in a bottle.
What has changed for so many bigger, and better names to consider UT one year after nobody wanted to even sit in the room with the UTAD?
