We've got a great running game, a great D augmented by a superior DC, and "special" teams. Great coaches and the book say play it close to the vest. I agree somewhat.
Against the big boys, you certainly don't want to shoot yourself in the foot. However, against weaker competition (App, VPI), I'd unleash Astro. IMO, he's underrated as a passer. He's our playmaker and he makes things happen. Think SC 2014. I'd let him sling it.
If nothing else, it would keep SEC DC's up all night; will they run or throw? Plus, there will be a time this year when we have to throw. I say unleash Astro!
