This story would be unbelievable if not true. I just bought a house and moved in this week. Comcast (Xfinity) came Thursday to install internet (have DirecTv for tv). Their appointment was at 8 am and they arrived at 5:40 PM. But that's not the worst part, not even close.
We came home this afternoon and noticed a wet spot on my son's floor. I thought a pipe may have burst in the wall so I immediately called a plumber. Well, he came out and we found that the XFINITY guy who installed my Internet broke two water lines in my attic, didn't say anything about it, and water had leaked all night and the next day - almost 24 hours!!!!
I felt like he acted funny during the installation and he even called another guy out during the last 30 minutes of the time he was there, which was really kind of strange.
I got the leak fixed and called Comcast to report the damages. I hope they do the right thing and don't make me have to take them to court or anything. But it damaged a lot of insilation, created a water ring on the ceiling of the laundry room, and soaked the carpet in that bedroom.
Crazy idiot human being right there!! Hard to understand!
