According to Phil Kornblut, local recruiting reporter in Columbia, SC jr. has offered and he made an unofficial for the TAM game. He is supposed to be here again this week for an official visit. He lists Tennessee as one of his favorites, but the Vols have not offered according to Kornblut..
My "source" buddy here told me that Muschamp thinks he can build a defense at SC, but has concerns about the offense. No surprise in his thinking there, given his background and his offensive woes at UF. SC has had trouble getting offensive linemen and are beating the bushes to change that. It seems that the SC coaches feel good about getting Calbert if UT does not enter the picture and if so, he is a Vol. I do not know if that is accurate but that is what is being said at SC I am pretty sure.
Anyone know anything about the kid; his interest in UT; our interest in him?
