Has to be their being scared of making a mistake. I think Butch is a perfectionist when it comes to the game of football that it sometimes is his down fall. Every coach has flaws, and I think this one thing catches all the things that frustrates us as fans. Being afraid to let Dobbs loose until we are down two scores (see UGA, South Carolina) not playing guys like Taylor, Phillips, McKenzie over Lewis, Vickers, and O'Brien. Not wanting to put in guys like McDowell unless they absolutely have to. Playing Jumper over Kirkland last year. The conservative play calling once we establish a big lead. Butch has worked so hard to bring stability to the program that he's scared some mistake will derail it. It seems like Butch and some of the staff dwell on mistakes more than successes, I.e. Dobbs almost threw an INT so we need to scale it back the rest of the game.
