It was mentioned in the War Room that Kirkland and Bituli are both built better for this defense as inside LBs than Sapp, and also that the inside linebacker position are the most difficult to play in the defense because of adjustments and instincts required. Knowing that, do any of you have a feel for the difficulty of learning this defense as compared to Shoop's defense? Reason I ask, thinking back to last year, it seemed to be that the mental side of it was what was keeping Bituli off the field more than the physical side of it, if I remember correctly. If MLB under Pruitt is just as difficult or more difficult to learn than it was under Shoop, then it makes me wonder about Bituli again this year. I vividly remember the GQ blasting Shoop regularly for not finding a way to get Bituli on the field. It will be interesting to watch the masses response to CJP and the defensive staff if the mental aspect of it keeps Bituli off the field again this year. On the positive side, he will have different coaches this year and hopefully they are able to get him to learn in a way that last year's coaches weren't. Thanks. @Brent_Hubbs @Rob Lewis @Austin_Price @Jesse_Simonton
