I must admit, when we hired Butch I was all about the Brick by Brick slogan. And I still believe in it. Howeva (Marissa Tomei, My cousin Vinny voice) I am beginning to think he was actually referencing those Styrofoam bricks that one used as a child to build indoor forts. On the outside at the beginning, you could stack those bad boys up and have fun for hours in your tiny fort. Then after a while, say four years, it started getting old and there wasn't much stability. If you stacked them too high they would all collapse and just be a huge mess for you to clean up. It really sucked because you promised all your friends you would have a huge fort for everyone, but then, right when you thought you had it, it just became a large mess. After that, you get kicked out of the house and forced to become a qb coach for a big 10 team or a broadcaster with a plethora of cheesy cliches. Sounds like our programs trajectory.
