I was eating one of those six packs of peanut butter crackers you get at a concenience store, and it reminded me of a topic I want put before the VQ braintrust. When I was growing up we called those things eater snacks. A few years ago I was traveling with a business associate from North Carolina and told him I was a little hungry and was going to stop and get a pack of eater snacks. He was a little puzzled and amused. He asked me what eater snacks are, and I told him. He said "oh you mean nabs?
Just curious if others called them eater snacks, nabs or maybe something else.
When I was a teenager, got a job and had a little disposable income, there was no bigger treat than to go to a bait shop close to my home and get a pack of eater snacks and a RC. Life was simpler in those days.
