UK has issues on the OL like we do. This is from an article in UK-land.
"Florida, no doubt wary of Kentucky after last year’s near-miss in The Swamp, rolled in ready to play and proceeded to expose the Wildcats in an area where the Gamecocks had some success last week: offensive line.
Patrick Towles, the quarterback with the flowing mane, could find no flow of his own. Florida’s defensive brain trust soon realized they could apply constant pressure with their front four without the help of the Gators’ back seven, all the while shutting off running lanes the UK backs had exploited in the first two games.
That left the Florida defensive backs, one of the strongest units in the nation, to jam UK receivers at the line and disrupt their routes with sticky coverage.
Minus time to set up and look for targets, Towles was unable to sling it long with impunity. He didn’t help himself, either, by holding on to the football too long at times, contributing to the total of six sacks, including one on the final drive that all but ended any shot the Cats had at a game-winning touchdown."
