I'm not expert in any way on offenses and defenses. I don't know the exact difference in our offense and other teams' offenses that are somewhat similar. I'm not saying we have to go back to I-Formation with a full back and have another Peyton to be successful.
You see other teams all over the country have exciting and imaginative offenses where they still have a balance of running and throwing.....but we can't.
But whatever this is...it sux.
Hurd not getting a running start really hurts. He has to tip-toe along the line at half speed to find a cutback lane. It kills 90% of what he COULD do. Pros have successful running schemes from the gun....what is so different in our offense that we can't?
We can't throw hardly anything but little hooks and flairs out of the backfield. We DO run a little seam route with tight ends but we only try it once or twice a game.
It just seems like a cluster-f........
