I ran a very successful business for many years doubling profit and expanding the business over 17 years and believe me some of my workers loved me and some hated me. Doesn't mean I was perfect and I regret some of my decisions but doesn't that happen to all people in power?
6.) Bruce Weber was not a good hire but the women's basketball coach was. Bruce Weber is the only real knock on the guy when it comes to hires. So that would just about disqualify every sitting AD with 10 years in office. Foley at Florida had made some incredible hires but also some disastrous ones as well, does that make him a Bad AD? And Foley can't touch Currie in terms of generating money for an Athletic Program.

8.) Bill Snyder isn't having the same success in his second tenure under Currie some have said. Due to his strict compliance regulations. Ok sure but don't let facts get in the way.. in 2004 Bill Snyder went 4-7 and 5-6 in 2005 before retiring.
He came back in 2009 and in 2012 went 11-2 and was in the national title race until the end of the season. Was named Coach of the year by just about all media outlets. This past year at the age of 77 he went 9-4 with so many more recruiting tools than he ever had before thanks to Currie's efforts to upgrade in a tremendous way everything associated with football. Yet some people here act like Snyder hasn't been the same with Currie. Completely False.
I'm thrilled with this hire. Yeah he may be a jerk but I seriously doubt he is to the people who don't deserve it. The best fundraising AD in the country doesn't burn many bridges folks or else he wouldn't be the best fundraising AD in the Country. K State fans Should be grateful but they can't get past Bruce Weber and that's a shame because Currie put in a lot of hard work for them.
